Reporting directly to the General Counsel & VP Administration, this people-manager role will require you to be present in our San Francisco office at least three days a week.People Partnership & OperationsDepartmental Partnership: Act as the primary contact for managers on personnel matters, providing coaching on performance management and team dynamics.Retention Strategy: Collaborate with our People Generalist to create effective retention programs and strategies informed by industry benchmarks and best practices.Performance Bar: Assist in the annual calibration and performance review processes, ensuring actionable feedback and maintaining high performance standards.Peer Mentorship: Mentor and provide on-the-job coaching to our People Generalist, equipping them with the investigative judgment and HRBP skills necessary for their growth.Full-Cycle Talent AcquisitionExecute End-to-End Searches: Own the complete recruiting lifecycle for both technical (Engineering, Product) and non-technical (GTM, Policy, G&A) roles, from initial intake to final offer.Investigative Screening: Conduct in-depth behavioral interviews to assess alignment with our core values and long-term potential.Direct Sourcing: Build high-quality, diverse candidate pipelines through innovative outreach strategies, minimizing reliance on external agencies.
