About the job
Join Marathon Fusion as a Laboratory Technician Intern!
At Marathon Fusion, we are pioneering the engineering technologies required to transition fusion energy from theoretical experiments to operational power plants. While many in the industry are focused on developing new fusion devices, we are dedicated to creating practical systems that enable fusion energy to be deployed at a scale that addresses climate change.
Our innovative work involves developing essential fuel cycle and plant-level technologies that facilitate stable isotope production, close the fuel cycle, and create advanced blanket systems. These advancements not only support energy generation but also produce high-value co-products.
Founded in 2023, our mission is to deliver the components and systems that will make fusion a practical, abundant, and reliable energy source for the 21st century.
Our Culture
We thrive in a dynamic startup environment that demands focus, adaptability, and the ability to prioritize tasks amidst changing circumstances. Success in our team requires excellent proactive communication across diverse roles and backgrounds, the ability to build and maintain trust, and a commitment to continuous learning and skill development. We value self-directed team members who are eager to contribute.
