About Atomic Semi
Atomic Semi is revolutionizing the semiconductor industry by building a compact, high-speed semiconductor fabrication facility.
With today's technology and innovative approaches, we are capable of achieving this goal. Our in-house development of tools allows for rapid iterations and continuous enhancements.
We are assembling a talented team of hands-on engineers across various disciplines including mechanical, electrical, hardware, computer, and process engineering. Our objective is to control the entire stack from atoms to architecture. We are driven by optimism for the future and are committed to pushing technological boundaries.
Our philosophy is simple: smaller, faster, and self-built is better.
We are confident in our team's ability to create anything. Our lab is equipped with 3D printers, diverse microscopes, e-beam writers, and general fabrication tools. If we find something missing, we innovate to fill that gap.
Atomic was founded by Sam Zeloof and Jim Keller. Sam is renowned for designing chips in his garage, while Jim is a veteran leader in the semiconductor sector with over 40 years of experience.
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Facilities Technician to ensure the seamless operation of our office, lab, and production environments. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, building, and problem-solving in real-time.
Your responsibilities will span our facilities—including the office, lab, and light industrial areas—addressing maintenance needs, repairs, minor constructions, equipment setups, and vendor management. You might find yourself diagnosing an issue one day and assembling furniture or running cables the next, as well as supporting lab installations and coordinating contractor visits.
In a fast-paced startup atmosphere, priorities shift rapidly, equipment may require adjustments, and workspaces are continuously evolving. We are looking for a practical, dependable, and meticulous individual who takes pride in maintaining safe and functional surroundings. No task is too small; if it needs to be done, we get it done.
