Collaborating closely with our product and engineering teams, you will validate the accuracy of feature extraction, rigorously test new workflows using real-world datasets, and ensure the products we deliver genuinely reflect industry standards.This position is perfect for individuals with practical surveying or CAD experience who are eager to influence software used across the industry—someone who can articulate issues clearly when things don’t meet expectations.You will play a pivotal role at the crossroads of product development, engineering, and marketing—catching overlooked details by engineers, providing structured feedback, and articulating our capabilities to customers in an engaging and credible manner.Your Impact:Conduct quality assurance on new features using real-world LiDAR and mobile mapping datasets.Detect extraction errors, edge cases, and workflow issues before they reach our customers.Deliver structured and detailed feedback to our engineering and product teams.Create video recordings and narrated walkthroughs for training, marketing, and demonstration purposes.Develop repeatable QA checklists and testing workflows to streamline processes.Serve as the in-house expert on the practical applications of surveying and engineering.Your Qualifications:Hands-on experience with surveying, drafting, or CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, etc.).Thorough understanding of feature extraction, geometric principles, and infrastructure workflows.Keen attention to detail—capable of spotting discrepancies, whether it's a misaligned curb line or an incorrect classification.Proficient in explaining complex technical workflows in a clear and concise manner.Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco.About Mach9:At Mach9, we are revolutionizing civil infrastructure design through innovative AI-powered geospatial tools.
