About BlacksmithAt Blacksmith, we’ve revolutionized the infrastructure for Continuous Integration (CI) workloads, developing our first product that significantly accelerates GitHub Actions, allowing our clients to save time and costs by utilizing our proprietary global fleet of bare-metal machines instead of conventional cloud VMs.We are proud to orchestrate tens of millions of Firecracker VMs monthly, providing CI services to over 1,200 companies, achieving approximately $10 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in under two years.Our operations span thousands of bare-metal machines in various regions, where we concurrently manage over 30,000 vCPUs and operate a petabyte-scale Ceph cluster, all under our management.Having raised $13.5 million across Seed and Series A funding, led by Google Ventures (GV), we are focused on building a small yet exceptional team.Founded by a team with extensive systems and scalability expertise, including experience at Faire and Cockroach Labs, our go-to-market strategy is spearheaded by Jon Boyer, the former Head of Sales at Zapier.We are now expanding our CI infrastructure into a comprehensive platform, creating agent sandboxes at scale and developing our own background coding agent.Your ResponsibilitiesProduct MarketingTransform intricate technical features into easily understandable customer value propositions.Generate engaging marketing collateral such as case studies, presentations, and one-pagers to effectively communicate Blacksmith's value to prospects and clients.Lead customer education initiatives through comprehensive documentation, email campaigns, and onboarding guides.Growth & Demand GenerationIdentify and monitor essential growth metrics, including weekly inbound leads, pipeline generation, and conversion rates.Establish sustainable demand generation channels beyond product launches, such as advertising, content distribution, email campaigns, and strategic partnerships.Conduct experiments on paid acquisition strategies and rigorously evaluate their ROI.Brand & Content ManagementMaintain high standards for quality, creativity, and personality within our brand identity.Oversee our social media presence across platforms such as X and LinkedIn, ensuring consistent engagement with our audience.
