The Hivemind Platform Team at Shield AI is on the lookout for a talented and detail-oriented Requirements Engineer to enhance our team’s capabilities. The Hivemind Enterprise product serves as a software development kit (SDK) designed for the scalable design, deployment, evaluation, and iterative refinement of autonomy architectures suitable for a diverse array of robotic platforms. This sophisticated software product provides essential tools and user interfaces that cater to various user personas, from AI developers to test engineers.
As a Requirements Engineer for Hivemind at Shield AI, you will play a pivotal role within our multidisciplinary systems engineering team, collaborating closely with Product Managers, technical contributors, Test and Quality Assurance team members, and systems modelers. Your primary responsibility will be to convert product user stories into precise engineering requirements accompanied by measurable metrics.
This position entails defining, modeling, and validating the Hivemind software system alongside its applications. It is a hands-on and highly collaborative role that requires expertise in requirements formulation, traceability, management, systems modeling, and a solid understanding of autonomous software pipelines. While the main focus will be on requirements development, you will also support system model development as part of a broader systems engineering effort, necessitating close collaboration with systems modelers to ensure alignment between requirements, system architecture, and system behavior across the Hivemind SDK.
