Position Overview & Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic and accomplished Networking Technology Lead to direct the design, implementation, and optimization of our advanced network infrastructure. This essential role will concentrate on establishing a robust satellite routing framework and overseeing our core MPLS routing systems. The ideal candidate will have substantial expertise in network architecture, routing protocols, and satellite communications technologies, combined with strong leadership and project management skills.
Key responsibilities include:
Development of Satellite Routing Framework:
Design and implement a comprehensive routing framework for satellite communication networks, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability. Assess the impact of network planning on spacecraft operations.
Select appropriate routing protocols for hybrid satellite and terrestrial networks.
Formulate strategies to address satellite-specific challenges such as latency, bandwidth fluctuations, and link disruptions.
Enhance network performance through traffic engineering, QoS mechanisms, and routing policy configurations.
Management of Core Routing (MPLS) Systems:
Design and develop the service network routing infrastructure akin to MPLS technologies.
Create and implement network solutions that cater to diverse services and customer requirements.
Diagnose complex routing and performance issues, ensuring network reliability and efficiency.
