This impactful leadership position is tasked with directing a team of event experts who orchestrate intricate corporate meetings, incentive programs, and large-scale events across the region.
Position Overview
As the Director of Events (DOE), you will define the strategic vision and oversee the comprehensive management of the Events team, ensuring operational excellence across all initiatives within the West territory.
You will guide a team dedicated to delivering sophisticated corporate meetings, incentive programs, and large-scale events, guaranteeing that all projects adhere to Access's standards for quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include managing team dynamics, performance metrics, and project assignments while ensuring exceptional client delivery, robust financial results, and seamless interdepartmental collaboration. The DOE will work closely with Sales, Creative, and executive leadership to drive innovation, support territorial expansion, and foster a strong, solution-oriented team environment.
This role is crucial in guaranteeing that programs are executed to the highest standards while achieving revenue, profitability, and client satisfaction targets.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
Provide leadership and mentorship to Senior Managers, Event Managers, and Event Associates, encouraging professional growth and long-term engagement.
Promote a culture of creative excellence, accountability, and continuous learning through coaching and regular team alignment.
Collaborate with Talent Operations and executive leadership to recruit, onboard, and nurture a diverse pipeline of future leaders.
Utilize KPIs and analytics to enhance team performance and program outcomes.
