A Day in the Life Swift Solar is seeking a proactive IT and security leader who will manage our current IT operations while laying the groundwork for future manufacturing sites. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of Swift IT — managing onboarding and offboarding, device allocation, incident response, and system upgrades — ensuring our issue-management system is transparent to prevent any oversights. Security will be a vital aspect of this position: you will implement least-privilege access, establish boundaries for sensitive systems, enhance endpoint hygiene, and devise secure vendor-access strategies across our office, lab, and shared-system environments. You will also strengthen role-based access controls for technical cooperation between our teams in the U.S. and Germany and ensure that Swift's security measures evolve in line with the company’s growth. The major opportunity lies in shaping the future as Swift transitions to manufacturing. You will set standards for site networking, shared workstations, vendor access, and endpoint deployment at new facilities.
