What You Will Do Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Analyze historical data and production rates to prepare accurate bids. Confirm the estimating team has all required information before bidding begins. Coordinate Junior Estimators and Estimators to keep the bidding process organized. Oversee timely and accurate takeoffs and vendor outreach, making sure everything aligns with project scope. Draft detailed scope letters to clarify proposals and exclusions early in the process. Keep the estimating team on track to meet deadlines. Document and organize all project details, including material and subcontractor pricing. Work closely with Operations and Support Ops teams to ensure a smooth handoff from estimate to project start. Communicate with the estimating team to allocate resources effectively. Manage multiple bids at once, adjusting for project size and complexity. Mentor Junior Estimators and Estimators to support their growth. Serve as a dependable resource for the estimating team.
