Position Overview:
We are looking for an Operations Manager for our Inspection Center in Sacramento. In this supervisory role, you'll lead a dedicated team responsible for daily operations within our facility. You will oversee all aspects of the vehicle reconditioning process, managing at least five leads and up to 70 frontline associates in a lean manufacturing environment. Your key responsibilities will include fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high employee engagement while meeting quality, production, and cost objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supervise daily operations within the Inspection Center.
- Provide mentorship and accountability to direct reports, facilitating succession planning through effective coaching, leadership development, training, and performance management.
- Collaborate in the development and execution of strategic plans, goals, and objectives, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with operating standards, policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
- Create a work environment that fosters positive communication, teamwork, and adherence to Carvana’s core values.
- Manage the recruitment, selection, orientation, and training of supervisory staff.
- Ensure that training and certification processes for progression paths are consistently followed.
- Train and mentor leads and associates, providing competency-based feedback.
- Ensure sufficient production capacity levels for each line and assist with production planning.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and loss prevention initiatives.
