Join our innovative team as a Field Data Collection Driver and play a vital role in a high-precision mapping initiative for our client's digital mapping project. In this engaging position, you will utilize a company-provided vehicle, equipped with a cutting-edge 360-degree camera system to capture street-level imagery. This imagery will enhance global geospatial technology platforms and mapping services that power navigation products across the globe.
No prior mapping experience is necessary – we provide comprehensive training and ongoing technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively operate a vehicle outfitted with camera systems to capture 360-degree imagery.
- Adhere to pre-defined driving routes provided on a daily basis.
- Upload gathered data from onboard devices at the conclusion of each shift.
- Perform routine equipment checks to ensure optimal functionality.
- Maintain open communication with the technical support team regarding any issues or updates.
- Exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor while representing the program in public settings.

- You adhere to safety regulations, maintain your vehicle meticulously, and prioritize safety above all.
Additional Details:
All necessary equipment, vehicles, and training will be provided. Candidates must pass a background check, comply with routine safety screenings, and complete onboarding training. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility based on weather conditions and route completion.
Willingness to drive up to 8 hours/day on public roads, sometimes covering long distances, is essential. Access to secure parking (preferably with CCTV) for the company vehicle is preferred; assistance may be provided for qualifying candidates.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience (5+ years preferred).
- Excellent driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in using mobile apps or in-vehicle technology.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (10-15 kg) occasionally and perform basic physical tasks related to equipment setup.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently for extended hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in field data collection, delivery driving, or GIS-related roles.
- Familiarity with geospatial tools or a keen interest in mapping technologies.
