We are seeking a Graphic Designer to enhance our creative team. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, pays meticulous attention to detail, and produces eye-catching designs that resonate with audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft striking, strategic designs for various mediums including digital, social, web, print, and broadcast.
- Develop logos, campaign identities, and brand systems with intentionality and cohesiveness.
- Design high-impact digital advertisements, landing pages, email graphics, presentations, and materials that communicate effectively and aesthetically.
- Transform messaging and strategy into compelling visual narratives.
- Collaborate closely with account teams, video editors, and producers to create unified campaign concepts.
- Prepare and package final files while adhering to specifications, placements, and technical requirements.
- Efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring speed, organization, and precision.
- Quickly and thoughtfully integrate feedback while preserving creative integrity.
- Maintain organized file structures and asset libraries with consistent naming conventions.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of professional design experience in an agency, advocacy, or similarly dynamic environment.
- A portfolio showcasing strong brand identity work, digital-first design thinking, and versatility across various styles.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with After Effects is a plus.
- Experience using Figma and Canva for web and collaborative design processes.
- Working knowledge of Google Slides for creating and maintaining presentation decks.
- Deep understanding of typography, hierarchy, composition, and color theory.
- Ability to interpret strategic direction and deliver sharp, persuasive visual outcomes.
- Comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Highly organized with disciplined file management practices.
- Effective communicator and collaborator across teams.
- This position is based in Richmond, VA, or Washington, DC; candidates must be able to work in-person.
