The Fulfillment Team focuses on expanding the fulfillment options available during the purchase and browsing stages of the website, while the Activated Devices Team manages the sale of mobile phones with activated plans.Project Description:The Payment Team will build or implement automated payment options for client.com customers, including but not limited to Apple Pay. The Fulfillment Team aims to enhance shipping and delivery options on client.com to ensure fast and affordable product fulfillment. The Activated Devices Team is focused on transforming the current checkout experience into a service-oriented architecture with a responsive front-end design.Position Overview:The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing critical system components in alignment with the solution architecture to achieve the product vision. Collaboration with product managers, business stakeholders, operations, and architecture teams in a cross-functional environment is essential to meet both product vision and business goals. Participation in sprint planning sessions and creating documentation for developed or modified components is expected. Additionally, candidates will build or modify test cases/test harnesses to ensure effective testing of system components and work with operations and support teams to address production and non-production system issues.Required Skills and Experience:6 years of experience in building distributed, highly scalable eCommerce software in Java, preferably with Linux.2+ years of experience in developing applications on the Spring Framework Stack.2+ years of experience in building RESTful services using Groovy.Experience with Relational Databases.Proficiency in aggressive refactoring techniques.Expert knowledge of servlet containers and web-oriented architectures.2 years of experience in a continuous integration environment with Test Driven Development principles.Preferred Skills:Experience with commerce platforms, preferably ATG.Familiarity with non-relational databases (e.g., Apache Cassandra, Basho Riak, MongoDB, Redis).Working knowledge of single-page applications using Backbone.js or Angular.js.
