TEST TECHNICIAN (STARLINK)
As part of our commitment to providing low-latency broadband internet worldwide, we are looking for skilled test technicians to support the development and production of optoelectronic devices for our Starlink satellite constellation. This network will deliver fast and reliable internet access to underserved populations globally, especially in rural areas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct preventative maintenance on testing equipment and data acquisition systems.
- Utilize mechanical hand tools and torque wrenches for part setups on test fixtures.
- Assist in developing test setups and organizing the testing lab.
- Monitor work progress in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Program and operate environmental test chambers and vibration shakers.
- Employ both basic and advanced electronic testing equipment to conduct performance evaluations of components.
- Collaborate with design engineers to create and document testing procedures.
- Interpret various documentation types, from controlled releases to informal sketches.
- Identify design discrepancies and engage in problem-solving to rectify issues while updating documentation to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized workspace.
- Partner with design engineers to troubleshoot component and testing equipment failures.
- Support the development of production processes for initial production runs.
- Contribute to area efficiency and continuous improvement projects.
