Our team is dedicated to creating components that push the limits of machining capabilities.RESPONSIBILITIES:Follow established work instructions and process controls, ensuring a safe work environment.Maximize machine uptime by identifying and addressing issues such as alarms and out-of-tolerance conditions, while adhering to best practices.Utilize metrology tools, including CMMs, optical microscopes, and Zygo interferometers.Change tools and tooling according to specified procedures.Maintain accurate data entry, track work progress, and ensure effective communication.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent.At least 6 months of experience operating CNC machines.PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Experience operating diamond turning lathes.Familiarity with handling and inspecting sub-micron tolerance parts.Experience with CNC lathe setup.Understanding of optics manufacturing and relevant metrology.Proven ability to provide constructive feedback and suggest process enhancements to production and engineering teams.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Availability for 10-hour shifts. Estimated shift times: 1st shift (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM), 2nd shift (4:00 PM - 2:30 AM).Willingness to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as necessary.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted.Capability to stand for extended periods (minimum of 8 hours).Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces.
