About the job
We are on the lookout for a Senior Product Manager to oversee Automation & Data Applications at Keboola. This pivotal role involves enabling users to design and schedule automated data workflows, manage intricate orchestration logic, query data interactively, and create customer-focused data applications that operate on our Keboola infrastructure.
This position sits at the crossroads of developer-centric tools and business user accessibility. Your user base will include data engineers constructing complex pipelines and managing Git-synced code, as well as business analysts who need to build workflows and data applications without writing any code. You must fluently communicate in both technical and business terms and focus on optimizing the user experience for everyone involved. The ideal product is not defined by its features but by its ability to empower more users to create.
The competitive landscape is rapidly evolving, with players ranging from app-building platforms like Lovable and Base44 to workflow solutions such as Zapier, Make, and n8n. Understanding not only what competitors offer but also the rationale behind user preferences is crucial.
We seek a candidate who is inherently AI-savvy, utilizing AI for prototyping, analysis, and specification writing as a standard practice, and who can influence the way AI enhances our product, from assisted flow creation to intelligent automation. You will take complete ownership of your area, making data-driven prioritization decisions and possessing acute commercial awareness regarding what fuels growth and how product choices influence business outcomes.
This role does not involve engineering management. We require a Product Manager with profound user empathy, someone who actively engages with users to identify their genuine pain points and translates those insights into a product strategy that drives measurable success. You must be equally concerned about the data engineer craving detailed control and the business analyst eager to launch a workflow independently. If you prefer drafting specifications over engaging with customers, this position is not suited for you.
