Join Essel Environmental, a leader in environmental consulting, as an Environmental Project Engineer. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to conduct comprehensive environmental assessments and investigations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Phase II Investigations in accordance with ASTM Standards.
- Conducting multi-media sampling, including soil, soil vapor, groundwater, indoor air, methane, surface water, and sediment.
- Preparing lithological logs and boring logs.
- Writing detailed reports and creating supporting documentation.
- Designing Vapor Intrusion Mitigation Systems under the guidance of a California Registered Professional Engineer.
- Managing fieldwork and project sites throughout Northern California, which may include extended field days.
- Preparing and overseeing proposals and budgets.
- Managing small to mid-scale projects while supporting larger initiatives.
- Engaging in a mix of office and fieldwork, with a primary focus on office tasks.
- Communicating project updates, timelines, and compliance matters to clients, third parties, and regulatory bodies.
