Key ResponsibilitiesLead the coordination, planning, tracking, and management of projects involving a diverse team.Craft detailed written and verbal reports, memos, visualizations, and presentations to convey project objectives and outcomes, as well as the results of spatial or statistical analyses, to executives, non-technical staff, and the public.Effectively communicate and clarify technical issues, spatial concepts, data, and methodologies to non-technical audiences.Oversee the activities of subordinate project team members, ensuring the organization, prioritization, review, evaluation, and approval of project deliverables.Formulate project teams, identify necessary resources, assign responsibilities, and establish timelines to ensure successful project execution and delivery.Assess project costs and guarantee delivery within specified timeframes and budget constraints.Engage with departmental stakeholders to outline project objectives, goals, timelines, and deliverables, while prioritizing ad hoc map and report requests.Compile status reports, summaries, and dashboards for presentation to management at mid and senior levels.Ensure comprehensive documentation of projects, datasets, and processes.Collaborate with OIT and FLP IT for the implementation of new technologies, innovations, or data management protocols.Offer support, coaching, and mentoring on project management best practices as required for project coordinators and business analysts.Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as needed.
