This pivotal role entails overseeing strategy, deliverables, documentation, and final design in collaboration with the existing team, Network Architect, and Cloud Architect to ensure a resilient and scalable infrastructure. The Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for the comprehensive IT infrastructure design for Telesat Lightspeed, ensuring that evolving IT resource requirements are meticulously captured, tracked, analyzed, and costed. Active engagement with stakeholders is a must, along with the ability to present and defend design decisions on both technical and financial fronts.
