Collaboration is key, as you will work alongside fellow Project Engineers to achieve project goals.Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage comprehensive development projects that include grading, drainage, water retention, retaining walls, sewer/wastewater systems, transportation, site layout, and on-site utilities. Prepare, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects from start to finish. Assess surveys, field notes, maps, aerial photographs, and other documentation to identify project constraints and develop effective strategies to meet deadlines and budgetary requirements. Perform drainage calculations for storm sewer design, hydraulic systems, detention ponds, and water quality compliance. Lead design teams in rectifying redlines and making necessary plan revisions. Research municipal, state, and federal codes to ensure all projects comply with relevant ordinances and regulations. Communicate effectively with city, county, and state agencies to ensure all project requirements are fulfilled. Collaborate with project coordinators and other engineers to provide project status updates, address challenges, and implement plan modifications. Ensure compliance with codes, practices, QA/QC policies, and performance standards throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain daily interactions with Project Coordinators to keep projects on schedule and ensure client satisfaction with project status. Engage with clients as necessary to interpret their needs and represent them in the field. Conduct quality control assessments of work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel performance) and provide regular project status reports. Assign responsibilities and mentor project team members while liaising with various stakeholders. Manage the design, development, and maintenance of construction projects, ensuring safety, timeliness, and sustainability. Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, etc.). Evaluate potential risks, materials, and costs associated with projects. Participate in planning meetings as required.
