This role performs both standard radiographic and specialized CT procedures, with a strong focus on patient care and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Work with supervisors to resolve equipment, staffing, and workflow issues, and provide constructive feedback as needed. Perform daily quality assurance checks on CT scanners and emergency equipment, keeping accurate records of all tests. Collect relevant clinical details before exams, oversee patient preparation, and document important information. Manage scheduling and tasks to ensure patients move efficiently through the scanning area. Monitor, store, and route supplies for the CT area; report any shortages promptly. Keep a daily log of activities and maintain the procedures manual, compiling data for monthly reporting. Participate in orientation, on-the-job training, and in-service sessions; demonstrate CT equipment and procedures as needed. Deliver excellent customer service in line with the ICARE service excellence framework. Support physicians during emergencies and adverse reactions to contrast materials. Help orient new staff and contribute to in-service training based on performance and development goals. This role ensures compliance with ACR and FDA safety and quality standards while addressing each patient's individual needs. Main Responsibilities Acquire mammographic images, verifying demographic and technical details according to ACR guidelines. Gather patient mammography history and assess film quality. Complete procedures efficiently and maintain quality within set timeframes. Monitor patient condition during biopsy procedures, administer first aid if needed, assist physicians, and provide thorough post-biopsy care and follow-up education. Maintain radiation protection for patients and participate in required radiation safety training. Perform quality assurance testing on mammography equipment and keep accurate records as required. Work with supervisors to suggest improvements, report issues, and offer feedback to enhance patient care and technical standards. Manage inventory in the assigned area and notify supervisors of shortages. Demonstrate proficiency with Universal Manager/Epic processes. Handle additional tasks as assigned, including entering mammographic data, biopsy results, pending studies, and mammography letters.
