Position Overview
Devoción is on the lookout for a talented Technical Service Manager who will be responsible for leading technician operations, ensuring equipment quality, and providing exceptional service support to our wholesale partners. This role combines technical proficiency in coffee equipment with strong leadership, planning, and client service management skills.
As the Technical Service Manager, you will oversee Devoción’s Coffee Tech Team, ensuring our wholesale partners receive prompt equipment maintenance, technical assistance, and adherence to high service standards. We are looking for someone with a robust understanding of coffee equipment, excellent communication abilities, and the skill to manage service operations across various partners and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Operations & Team Leadership
- Lead and manage the Coffee Tech Team at Devoción.
- Supervise equipment maintenance and service support for wholesale partners.
- Coordinate emergency technical service coverage throughout the week.
- Establish and uphold standard operating procedures for technicians.
- Facilitate effective internal communication among technicians.
Client Service & Equipment Oversight
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure timely service for clients.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of service reports and quotes.
- Maintain high service standards, collaborating with the Wholesale Team to achieve over 90% client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain troubleshooting guides for wholesale partners.
Equipment & Vendor Management
- Manage communications with equipment vendors and purchasing teams.
- Oversee parts orders, repairs, and equipment procurement.
- Maintain inventory for used equipment and technical lab parts.
- Stay informed about new equipment offerings and coordinate vendor training.
