This unique role of Talent Partner is pivotal for Luminance, requiring a candidate who is ready to shape the position and enact meaningful changes. You will be tasked with establishing and scaling a high-performing recruitment function within a dynamic environment characterized by ambitious growth goals. The role integrates hands-on hiring efforts with the creation of a solid recruitment and onboarding framework. You will be instrumental in implementing consistent, high-quality hiring practices, directly sourcing elite talent, and collaborating with both internal teams and external agencies to facilitate business growth.
The Talent Partner will report directly to the HR Director and is expected to work from Luminance's New York Office a minimum of three days per week. Additionally, we are also in the process of hiring for a UK counterpart for this role, based in London.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment Infrastructure & Process Development
- Design and implement top-tier hiring frameworks, including interview formats, scorecards, and evaluation standards.
- Oversee and enhance the company's Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data accuracy, usability, and team adoption.
- Establish recruitment policies, service level agreements (SLAs), and governance to standardize hiring practices organization-wide.
- Introduce analytical reporting to monitor hiring effectiveness, pipeline status, and time-to-hire metrics.
- Collaborate closely with the HR team to collect candidate feedback and drive improvements for both candidate and hiring manager experiences.
2. Independent Talent Sourcing and Hiring Delivery
- Actively seek and engage high-caliber candidates through various channels (LinkedIn, networks, referrals, events, etc.).
- Conduct initial screenings for prospective candidates.
- Manage the complete recruitment process for key roles, from job briefing to offer acceptance and closure.
- Build and sustain talent pipelines for immediate and future hiring demands.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with external recruitment agencies and search partners.
- Define an agency usage strategy to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality outcomes.
