About the Role
We are seeking a Strategic Finance Associate to assist with financial and strategic analysis, budgeting, forecasting, management and investor reporting, as well as M&A and corporate development activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate curiosity, proactivity, and accountability. You will collaborate closely with executives and business leaders across the organization to assess strategic business initiatives and promote financially informed decision-making.
This position requires you to be commutable to our New York City office, operating in a hybrid environment with 3-4 days on-site each week.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a strategic partner to executives and department heads, leading the development of financial and data analyses that provide impactful insights and recommendations.
- Monitor, analyze, and forecast critical business/financial KPIs to identify trends and evaluate current and future risks and opportunities.
- Lead the quarterly financial forecasting and budget planning processes in close collaboration with executives and department leaders.
- Prepare management and investor reports, including materials for Board of Directors meetings.
- Collaborate with the leadership team and Board of Directors on high-priority corporate strategy and M&A initiatives.
- Drive initiatives aimed at continuously improving, automating, and scaling forecasting, reporting, procurement, and capital allocation tools and systems.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, or private equity.
