Contribute to cross-functional efforts to meet plant performance metrics. Recommend machining processes and cutting parameters to improve efficiency. Introduce new technologies and improved tooling designs. Develop plans for year-over-year cost per piece reductions. Coordinate with the preset team on effective tool setup methods. Use PFEP and Top Spend Data to launch cost-saving projects. Complete documentation for cost savings and tooling tests. Report non-conformances, corrective action requests (CARs), and continuous improvement activities. Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in the facility. Make decisions within established guidelines and procedures. Report near misses and incidents to the site manager and assist with investigations as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Experience in manufacturing and design. Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills.
