The Senior Manager of Data Partnerships & Monetization at CVS Health works within the Analytics & Behavior Change (A&BC) team, which applies advanced analytics and machine learning to support insights for over 100 million customers. This role shapes and delivers the strategy for external data licensing, acting as the internal authority on third-party data assets. The position involves frequent collaboration with external healthcare analytics partners, internal engineering teams, and senior leaders across the business.
External Data Licensing & Partner Management
- Oversee the operational health of active data licensing contracts. This includes tracking deliverables, monitoring schema changes, managing feed updates, and ensuring service level agreement compliance.
- Maintain thorough documentation for data product specifications, schema modifications, and release notes.
- Coordinate communication between Data Engineering teams and external buyers to define and implement product enhancements.
- Support the VP of Data Monetization with contract renewals and exploratory partnership discussions.
- Track and report on licensing revenue using scorecards and business reviews.
- Organize and lead quarterly business reviews with external partners.
Strategic Data Sourcing & Internal Product Ownership
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal analytics teams using strategic third-party healthcare data assets.
- Evaluate and advise on new data applications, addressing questions about data content, methodology, and usage.
- Create clear documentation and FAQs to encourage self-service among internal teams.
- Monitor data integrations for quality and coverage, and escalate issues as needed.
