We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Substitute Teaching Assistant to join our team at the Francis of Paola Early Learning Center in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.Address: 201 Conselyea Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211Role Overview:Part-Time/Per Diem position available Monday through Friday, as needed.Work hours range from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM.This role follows a 10-month calendar with an additional 30-day summer session.Under the supervision of a Teacher, you will implement daily activity schedules and lesson plans while adhering to the objectives outlined in each student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP).Directly support students both individually and in groups, providing care needs such as toileting, dressing, and feeding in a manner that promotes independence.Assist with the arrival and dismissal of students as required.Engage in activities outside the classroom, such as playground supervision, field trips, and gym sessions, ensuring the safety and well-being of students while teaching essential skills under the teacher’s guidance.Familiarize yourself with the disabling conditions of students and their impact on performance, as well as the educational objectives and methodologies of their IEPs.This position does not offer benefits.Compensation: $19.50 - $20 per hour
