Your background in a consulting environment, specifically within healthcare projects, will be invaluable in this role. You will play a crucial part in the design of significant projects across various medical programming types and all design phases. Key Responsibilities:
As the Lead Electrical Engineer, you will serve as the Engineer of Record on designated projects, leading coordination meetings and overseeing project tasks. You will supervise staff members, and be involved in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Establishing design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects
- Overseeing report preparation, analyzing system options, and assessing building conditions
- Ensuring interdisciplinary coordination with other trades and project consultants
- Monitoring correspondence among staff, clients, contractors, and owners
- Managing construction administrative duties such as field reports and responses to RFIs
- Bringing project management expertise
- Maintaining direct interaction with architectural team members and healthcare system staff
The ideal candidate will not only have a robust technical background for project coordination but also possess the necessary supervisory skills to conduct:
- Periodic performance evaluations for team members
- Contribution to the business unit's Technical Leadership Committee
- Support for the Technical Manager and Chief Engineer in business initiatives
