The Role:
We are on the lookout for seasoned Procurement professionals at various levels to enhance our procurement and supply chain functions as our company expands. The ideal candidate will blend strategic sourcing expertise with operational excellence, showing enthusiasm for building robust systems, processes, and supplier networks to facilitate sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement Systems & Operational Infrastructure
- Design and implement scalable procurement processes and systems that streamline purchasing, planning, and supplier coordination.
- Oversee ERP onboarding, including supplier setup, purchasing workflows, and data governance.
- Develop materials planning frameworks, including safety stock policies, inventory buffers, and procurement forecasting that align with production and demand planning.
- Establish standardized procurement workflows, documentation, and reporting systems.
- Create dashboards and tracking tools to enhance procurement visibility across suppliers, inventory, and purchasing cycles.
2. Supply Chain Resilience & Redundancy
- Fortify the company’s supply chain to guarantee continuity, flexibility, and risk mitigation as operations scale.
- Develop multi-sourcing strategies and identify qualified secondary suppliers.
- Map supply chain risks and implement contingency plans for key raw materials and packaging components.
- Collaborate with Commercialization, R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure reliable supply continuity.
- Formulate long-term supply strategies that balance reliability, flexibility, and scalability.
3. Supplier Management & Strategic Negotiations
- Forge and manage strong supplier relationships that underpin long-term operational success.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing agreements, and supplier performance reviews.
- Establish supplier scorecards and performance management frameworks.
- Work alongside suppliers to drive service improvements, lead time reductions, and operational alignment.
4. Procurement Optimization & Value Creation
- Champion continuous improvement across procurement operations to maximize efficiency and long-term value.
