Qualifications for Group Practices Your practice must comprise at least 3 fully licensed clinicians who wish to join Octave. Providers must have their own office space and be willing to offer in-person services. All clinicians must possess a full license (no associate or intern level providers permitted). Acceptable licenses include LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD, all valid in New York. Clinicians must be in good standing with their respective licensing boards. A minimum of 1 year of post-licensure experience is required (2+ years preferred). Training in therapies such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-focused treatments is necessary. Some payer relationships may disqualify you from employment. A Master's Degree or higher from an accredited institution in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy is essential.
