Role overview
The Creative Director, Growth will lead creative strategy for member acquisition at Pelago. This hybrid role, based in New York City, oversees the entire creative process for the acquisition funnel, from initial concept through execution. Reporting to the Head of Growth, the position blends design expertise with campaign strategy and directly influences how Pelago attracts new members. Three days per week in the office are expected.
This position shapes both the visual identity and emotional resonance of growth campaigns, with clear accountability for measurable outcomes. Data and experimentation guide creative decisions throughout the process.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end campaign development: Identify insights and turn them into cohesive campaigns across email, direct mail, SMS, and landing pages.
- Refine Pelago’s growth creative voice: Evolve the visual language, messaging, and channel standards to strengthen and unify the acquisition experience. Build on existing frameworks to elevate creative quality.
- Drive creative experimentation: Develop and test creative hypotheses, using analysis to optimize campaign performance.
