Available Position:Head Coach for Boys Middle School VolleyballThe Avenues coaching role is designed to guide our student-athletes in mastering the essential skills, strategies, and physical training necessary for both individual and team success. In addition, the coach will foster values such as integrity, pride, sportsmanship, self-discipline, goal setting, teamwork, and self-confidence.Key Responsibilities of the Head Coach include (but are not limited to):Teaching and breaking down fundamental skills for players across all levels.Attending all scheduled practices and games.Managing and coordinating practice sessions and game strategies.Overseeing all administrative tasks related to the team.Participating in all requisite athletic and school meetings and events.Practices last 1.5 hours and games can extend up to 2 hours, excluding travel time. Varsity coaches are expected to meet 4 times a week. On game days, athletes may leave between 2:15 PM and 3:00 PM, thus candidates should be available during this time to accompany the team to away games. Home games typically begin at either 4:15 PM or at 5:30/5:45 PM.
