Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG) is on the lookout for a motivated, collaborative, and determined individual to join our Healthcare/Life Sciences team. This role focuses on supporting clients in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostic sectors. As a Business Development Associate (BDA), you will play a key role in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. Your responsibilities will include presenting our capabilities to clients, utilizing our CRM system to manage client accounts, and working closely with the Business Development Manager to drive new GLG subscriptions.
The Business Development Associate position is a critical support role that fosters new business development across a diverse range of prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on target accounts and contacts to pinpoint key decision-makers and understand their specific needs and challenges.
- Engage in personalized outreach through email, cold calling, and LinkedIn to connect with prospects at key new logos.
- Initiate conversations with prospects to gain insights into their business challenges, needs, budget, authority, and timeline.
- Effectively communicate GLG's value proposition, highlighting how our solutions can address the prospect’s issues.
