Role Overview iCapital Network seeks a Fund Monitoring Associate to join the Fund Monitoring, Reporting, and Governance team in New York. This position focuses on ongoing oversight of private market fund investments within the iCapital platform. Over time, responsibilities will expand to include preparing and sharing investment updates with internal teams, wealth advisors, and their clients. What You Will Do Monitor and assess the performance of funds in private equity, private credit, and real assets across the iCapital portfolio. Draft investment updates, call summaries, and talking points that clearly communicate key developments. Perform fund-level analytics and financial modeling. Keep current on macroeconomic trends by engaging regularly with iCapital fund managers. Attend Annual General Meetings (AGMs) to gather updates directly from fund managers. Share investment updates with both internal colleagues and external partners. Develop analytical materials for Governance team projects, such as secondary sales and investment oversight. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; progress toward CFA or CAIA is preferred. 2-5+ years of relevant experience in private markets, investment banking, asset management, or investment consulting is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Advanced financial analysis and modeling skills; Excel proficiency required. Familiarity with valuation methods (DCF, peer comps, etc.) is helpful. Interest in deepening knowledge of alternative investments. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to travel up to 15% as needed.
