Role overview
The Mid-Market Account Executive joins the Go-To-Market Sales Team, driving pipeline growth and revenue while expanding relationships with key mid-market accounts. This position combines relationship-building with strategic input, contributing to both sales execution and product development by sharing customer insights.
What you will do
- Identify and develop new mid-market business opportunities, demonstrating how Notion enhances collaboration and productivity.
- Build and deepen relationships with existing customers, seeking new ways to engage and add value.
- Refine the contract renewal process to retain and grow the customer base, focusing on reducing churn.
- Lead both in-person and virtual meetings with prospects to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Establish and maintain executive-level connections within client organizations.
- Deliver product demonstrations and close deals to meet or exceed assigned sales targets.
- Help develop sales playbooks and influence sales processes.
- Work with Notion’s user community to support a strong customer experience.
- Collaborate with teams across sales, customer success, and legal for a coordinated approach.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of sales experience in a growing software company.
- Consistent record of meeting or surpassing sales quotas.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Resourceful and creative approach to problem-solving.
- Team-oriented mindset and commitment to customer success.
Location
This role is based in New York, New York. Office attendance is required on designated days.
