In this pivotal role, the Director will act as Zeta's editor-in-chief, shaping and enhancing our public identity through consistent messaging, strategic storytelling, and effective internal communication systems. The Director will oversee all communications strategies and executions across media, public relations, executive communication, and family-oriented messaging. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing skills, editorial precision, project management capabilities, and the ability to harmonize messaging across various audiences—from families and funders to media and policymakers. Key Responsibilities: Design and execute a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns Zeta's public voice with its mission, vision, and values. Lead messaging across both internal and external channels, fostering coherent storytelling that builds trust among stakeholders. Create and refine high-impact communications including press releases, executive messaging (like op-eds), board updates, internal staff communications, and materials for families. Manage media relations, proactively pitch stories, and coordinate earned media opportunities.
