About the Role:
We are looking for an outstanding Software Engineer II to become part of our Engineering team. Our team tackles challenging technical problems that have a meaningful impact. We analyze billions of medical records to rank healthcare providers across the country. Operating within an AWS and Kubernetes environment, we continually adopt new technologies to manage our system as it doubles in load each year. We expect our engineers to lead in adopting cutting-edge industry practices, aggressively integrating AI across our operations. Work Environment:
This position is located in our New York City office, situated in the Financial District. You will be required to work on-site three days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage AI to develop, enhance, and sustain software systems.
- Collaborate across various disciplines to deepen understanding of our domain and iterate on projects.
- Ensure user privacy and security through established best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering, particularly with distributed event-driven architectures.
- A generalist software engineering mindset with a willingness to learn new languages, frameworks, and techniques suited for a fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with data security and HIPAA compliance regulations.
- A strong desire to contribute to a high-performance team focused on impactful work.
