You will engage with high-growth, venture-backed startups through relationship-building with founders, venture capitalists, accelerators, and startup communities. Collaborating with our dedicated startup marketing team, you will create and implement programs, events, and partnerships that enhance MongoDB's visibility, adoption, and enduring loyalty within the startup landscape. As a key representative of MongoDB, you will orchestrate startup-focused initiatives such as hackathons, demo nights, founder dinners, and activations adjacent to major conferences. Key Responsibilities: Act as MongoDB's ambassador in the New York startup ecosystem: Forge and nurture robust relationships with key stakeholders including founders, operators, VCs, accelerators, and vital ecosystem partners. Drive high-value startup acquisition: Develop and implement targeted strategies aimed at engaging and converting promising startups into participants of the MongoDB for Startups program. Enhance MongoDB’s regional presence: Design and execute a strategy for impactful events tailored to founders, such as VC-partnered gatherings, demo days, hackathons, and community activations. Collaborate with startups to showcase success: Partner with internal teams and startup clients to highlight compelling narratives about the innovative solutions being built on MongoDB. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure alignment with cross-functional teams: Work closely with MongoDB Ventures, Revenue Marketing, Strategic Events, and Developer Relations to integrate startup-focused initiatives and ensure regional efforts effectively connect with founders and developers. Monitor and measure impact: Track success metrics related to startup engagement, such as participation quality, funded-founder involvement, and program applications, using insights to continuously refine strategies and programming.
