Position Overview: B Capital Group is actively looking for a dynamic Vice President/Director to join our Capital Formation team, reporting directly to the Managing Director of Capital Formation. This pivotal fundraising role involves cultivating relationships with strategic investors and spearheading capital raising initiatives across various funds and co-investments. Develop and tailor fundraising materials (including presentations, data room content, due diligence questionnaires, requests for proposals, performance track records, and portfolio analyses) to support capital-raising initiatives. Establish and maintain a high-quality pipeline and CRM discipline, tracking interactions, feedback, and probability-weighted opportunities. Utilize and strengthen relationships with intermediaries (consultants, private banks, placement agents, and other capital partners) to broaden the firm’s outreach. Represent B Capital Group at limited partner meetings, conferences, and industry events, acting as a credible, front-line fundraiser for the organization. BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: 6–10 years of proven capital-raising experience in venture capital, private equity, private credit, or related alternatives, ideally with experience in: Fundraising/capital formation at a private equity/venture capital or alternative investment manager Fundraising at a placement agent firm Private company fundraising or private capital advisory at an investment bank or leading tech company Demonstrated experience in securing capital from endowments, foundations, pension funds, funds of funds, wealth managers, and/or family offices. A Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred. Strong project management capabilities and the ability to manage multiple fundraising processes concurrently. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
