To learn more about NYC Service, visit nyc.gov/service.The Problems You’ll Solve:The National Service Program Coordinator will collaborate with four other program coordinators, each responsible for leading and supporting essential components of NYC Service’s national service NYC Civic Corps AmeriCorps program, reporting directly to the National Service Program Support Director.Key Responsibilities:- Manage approximately 30 AmeriCorps members serving at various host sites throughout the city, providing support throughout their service terms.- Conduct in-person site visits to ensure compliance with AmeriCorps procedures and processes.- Foster relationships with host site supervisors and NYC Service AmeriCorps members.- Oversee aspects of the NYC Service AmeriCorps program compliance, including timesheet approvals and bi-weekly payroll submissions.- Coordinate the monthly collection, reporting, and validation of metrics from AmeriCorps members and organizational partners.- Contribute to funding mid-term and final reports and provide program information support for grant funding requests, including gathering member testimonials.- Update and create content for member and supervisor handbooks, program manuals, and NYC Service operations manuals.- Manage program development and logistics for NYC Service AmeriCorps training and events, including facilitating training for members.- Support supervisor orientation and training throughout the program year.- Facilitate monthly cohort calls and bi-weekly office hours for the AmeriCorps members you oversee.- Lead the selection process for members to join a member committee.- Coordinate and facilitate committee meetings to aid in executing committee projects.- Design and execute National Days of Service for members.
