Role overview
The People Operations Lead will develop and refine the systems that support Crosby’s team throughout the entire employee lifecycle. This includes hiring, onboarding, performance management, and shaping the employee experience. The role works closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure people operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business needs. This is a hands-on position for someone who values building strong teams and operational excellence. The People Operations Lead will play a key part in maintaining Crosby’s culture as the company grows.
Main responsibilities
- Develop and scale people operations: Design and manage core HR systems, policies, and processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Oversee hiring operations: Partner with leadership to improve recruitment, enhance the candidate experience, and increase hiring efficiency.
- Enhance onboarding and engagement: Build structured onboarding programs and initiatives to support retention and engagement.
- Ensure compliance and accuracy: Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations, and manage HR systems, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Support performance and development: Help design and run performance management and feedback systems that encourage growth and accountability.
- Streamline operational efficiency: Create scalable workflows, tools, and documentation to support people operations as Crosby expands.
