In this role, you will convert schematic designs into manufacturable layouts, integrating intricate passive and active photonic components along with electrical and mechanical interfaces. Proficiency in GDSII layouts and Python scripting for automating layout and verification processes, including DRC and LVS, is essential. Your expertise in PIC layout will be vital as you contribute to the creation of high-density, high-performance photonic chips that push the boundaries of integration.Initially, you will collaborate closely with two senior silicon photonics designers, and as our team expands, you will have the opportunity to work alongside additional layout engineers, photonics designers, and modeling engineers.
