This hands-on engineering position offers a unique opportunity to shape the AI foundation of our company from the outset.ResponsibilitiesConduct research, develop prototypes, and bring machine learning models to production for ITSM applications (e.g., ticket triage, incident prediction, workflow optimization, CMDB inference).Construct scalable training and inference pipelines that integrate effortlessly into our core platform.Experiment with LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for IT knowledge and workflow automation.Collaborate with engineers and product managers to define AI-driven features that set our platform apart.Assess model performance, optimize algorithms, and ensure the reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of AI systems.Stay updated with advancements in machine learning, LLMs, and AI infrastructure, applying these developments effectively.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related field; a PhD is advantageous.Solid foundation in software engineering (Python preferred) with experience in ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.Familiarity with one or more areas: natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs), information retrieval, graph ML, or time-series forecasting.Knowledge of modern MLOps practices, including model versioning, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup setting with comprehensive ownership of projects.Bonus: Experience applying AI within enterprise software or ITSM contexts.
