Role: Inside Sales Engineer - NYC
As a vital member of our Sales team, you will be responsible for quoting, designing, ordering, and tracking HVAC equipment and systems for engineering firms and mechanical contractors throughout the NYC Metro area, Long Island, and Westchester. You will partner closely with our Outside Sales team to accelerate deal closures and enhance operational efficiency. This position offers you the opportunity to engage in some of New York City's most exciting and challenging construction projects!
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the outside sales team to ensure effective communication and coordination on client projects, thereby enhancing overall sales strategies and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze design plans to produce accurate pricing estimates, initially focusing on mastering our products and processes, with the potential to undertake more complex tasks as your expertise grows.
- Create comprehensive proposals that incorporate detailed pricing and technical specifications to assist contractors in their decision-making processes.
- Utilize selection software to design tailored HVAC systems that fulfill the specific requirements of engineers and contractors, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee the entire order management process, coordinating with manufacturers to ensure the timely processing and delivery of HVAC equipment, while tracking orders and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Establish a follow-up system to monitor order statuses, guaranteeing timely delivery and promptly addressing any delays.
- Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates and addressing inquiries to boost client satisfaction.
- Compile documentation packets that outline on-site equipment specifications, maintenance guides, and operational instructions for effective project execution.
- Organize and lead training sessions for clients on equipment operation and maintenance, ensuring they are fully prepared to utilize the systems provided.
