About Amplo

Role Overview
The Director of Product oversees the clarity, alignment, and execution of our product roadmap as Amplo grows. This role suits someone who thrives on making processes work in practice, not just on paper. The Director of Product reports to the SVP of Engineering and works closely with the CEO and go-to-market leaders to translate business priorities into actionable product direction.
This position calls for a leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, setting up systems for reliable delivery, and holding both themselves and others accountable for results that matter to customers.
With AI tools increasingly shaping how product, design, and engineering intersect, candidates should feel at home navigating these shifts and bring a real curiosity for building AI-driven products and evolving product development practices.
What You'll Do
- Own the Product Roadmap: Define and maintain a clear, prioritized roadmap within engineering. Ensure every initiative connects back to company strategy and customer needs. Foster transparency so everyone understands the reasoning behind priorities.
- Drive Execution and Delivery Quality: Create processes, routines, and metrics that make product delivery measurable and predictable. Remove blockers, close gaps between planning and execution, and set a high bar for what finished work looks like.
- Lead and Develop the Product Team: Directly manage and mentor a small group of product managers. Set expectations, encourage ownership and accountability, and support each team member’s growth to help make Amplo a sought-after place for product talent.
