What You Will Do Lead and mentor a team of product professionals working on the Weedmaps marketplace Drive the development of new solutions that improve the cannabis shopping experience, including brand engagement, dispensary discovery, and online ordering Translate product vision into actionable strategies and technical plans Work closely with analytics, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure strong cross-functional partnerships Identify user needs and pain points, then collaborate to deliver solutions that benefit both consumers and business clients Develop and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and success Balance quick wins with long-term product initiatives What We’re Looking For Experience managing product teams in high-traffic online platforms, ideally in marketplace or advertising products Strong understanding of the cannabis economy and marketplace dynamics Background in mobile commerce, including user acquisition and order flows, especially within multi-sided marketplaces Proven ability to identify user needs and simplify complex problems Strategic thinker with a track record of scaling products and delivering measurable business results Experienced people manager with a commitment to mentoring and developing talent Comfortable working in a matrix organization and collaborating across departments Creative, data-driven, and able to communicate strategy clearly to inspire teams Work Environment This is a remote role with colleagues who are passionate about building a leading marketplace in the cannabis sector.
