Role Overview: Commercial Counsel for EMEA
In the role of Commercial Counsel for EMEA, you will be integral to our dynamic commercial legal team, overseeing a high volume of complex negotiations related to AI SaaS licensing, marketing agreements, and partnerships. You will serve as the primary legal advisor on enterprise-level contracts, ensuring that we balance risks with rewards while maintaining a swift and pragmatic approach to deal closure.
This position carries significant impact as you connect EMEA markets with our US-based technical and operational teams. You will translate local legal and regulatory frameworks into actionable insights for non-legal stakeholders, necessitating a deep understanding of GDPR, the EU AI Act, DORA, and other compliance requirements within the region.
In addition to managing day-to-day negotiations, you will contribute to our regional growth strategy, collaborating across departments to establish and launch new markets throughout EMEA. If you seek a legal role that offers genuine strategic influence, this is your opportunity.
Oversee all go-to-market contracts and agreements within the EU and MENA regions
Ensure compliance with GDPR and manage Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
Navigate local regulatory compliance including DORA, EU AI Act, and EU Data Act
Handle a high-volume workflow, negotiating and redlining key legal documents such as Licensing and SaaS agreements, and NDAs
Provide essential legal guidance, balancing risk/reward while aligning local requirements with our US-based teams
