Overview:
We are on a mission to revolutionize the deployment of nuclear power through advanced AI technologies. Our platform, Gordian, is designed to significantly shorten the licensing and delivery timelines, enabling a new era of nuclear energy accessibility for utilities and advanced reactor companies. We are looking for a proactive Chief of Staff who can harness this momentum and structure our operational framework effectively.
Role Summary (Reporting to the CEO):
This is not a traditional Executive Assistant position; this role is focused on internal execution and operational efficiency. You will oversee the company's operational strategy, ensuring that critical workflows are optimized for performance.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Operational Management: Develop and maintain weekly plans, record key decisions promptly, and keep quarterly goals (OKRs) visible while identifying risks early.
- Cross-Functional Program Ownership: Lead initiatives like recruitment drives and product launches, ensuring tangible outcomes through clear timelines and accountability.
- Effective Communication: Articulate ideas through concise investor updates, partner briefs, and other external communications.
- Recruitment Coordination: Manage the hiring process by defining roles, streamlining candidate pathways, and organizing interview schedules.
- Compliance Oversight: Streamline vendor security and procurement processes to avoid project delays.
- Business Instrumentation: Transform ambiguous data into actionable insights through dashboards and tracking systems, starting with tools like Sheets and Notion.
- Brand Representation: Participate in events and engage with potential candidates as a representative of our operational team.
