You will engage with our database layer, generation infrastructure, observability tools, and the services that enable a seamless real-time creative experience on a large scale.As part of our skilled team of full-stack engineers, you will leverage your extensive backend expertise to resolve our most challenging systems issues. You will take charge of complex projects, work closely with engineering leadership on architectural choices, and evolve with our backend team as we expand.Your ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement generation orchestration infrastructure capable of supporting significant scale.Enhance observability across our infrastructure to minimize failure rates and proactively identify issues before they affect users.Optimize our database layer through effective schema design, indexing strategies, and migrations as we grow.Collaborate on architectural decisions to facilitate the introduction of new features.Partner with the CTO, Product Engineering, and Intelligence Engineering teams to ensure a stable and high-performing foundation for features across all client platforms.Desired Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years of experience in building robust backend systems and operating services at scale.At least 3 years of in-depth experience with TypeScript, emphasizing type safety, error handling, and code organization.Demonstrated ability to analyze ambiguous problems and deliver well-structured solutions.Experience with queue-based architectures, including job scheduling, orchestration, and fault tolerance.Strong instincts for observability; experience in system instrumentation, dashboard creation, and utilizing data to enhance reliability.Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to technical decision-making.
